Fairfield Ludlowe High School Drama Club presents the world premiere workshop production of “Fake News!”, a new play by Joe Landry. Performances take place Friday, December 1 at 8pm, and Saturday, December 2 at 2pm and 8pm in the Nancy Larsen Auditorium at Fairfield Ludlowe High School, 785 Unquowa Road in Fairfield, CT. The sky is falling! Isn't it? In “Fake News!”, Miss Lincoln's Media Studies class presents a fast-paced adventure through the culture of fear. Destinations include a spin on the most infamous broadcast of all time, a hip-hop mini-musical of an apocalyptic bedtime story, and a climax never before seen on a public stage! Can they pull the rug out from under an audience who feels they can’t be tricked? Don’t touch that dial! The art of fake news is about to be taken to dizzying heights.

Luc Gervais, Jesse Lanham, Anne Lundvall, Lauren Lundvall, Kai Marrelli, Vincent Ohe, Claire Orriss, Jessie Plumitallo, Emma Powell, Ian Sacci, Jackson Shostak, Allie Siclari, Katie Siclari, Lydia Stuart, Nicole Varvaras, Julia Vitale and Danielle Wilklow.
“Fake News!” is written and directed by Ludlowe alumni Joe Landry. The play was developed with Fairfield Ludlowe High School Drama Director Frances R. Kondziela, who directed the premiere of Landry’s adaptation of “It’s a Wonderful Life” at Fairfield High School and has gone on to become one of the top-ten most produced plays in America. Landry’s other published plays include “Vintage Hitchcock” and “A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play.”
The “Fake News!” creative team includes Roger Mudre (Scenic Designer/Director), Simone DePaolo (Choreography), Regina Krieger (A/V Consultant). Nick Fech is Assistant to the Director and Meghan Guiterrez is the Costume Crew Leader.
